Starting this business was an adventure - not always fun, but always exciting and rewarding. Transitioning from tobacco to herbs required alot of hardwork, dedication and perserverance. Within the span of a year, our family moved from growing two or three types of crops, to nearly one hundred, each type requiring special growing conditions. This hard work, combined with our innovative use of old farm equipment, has made our story one that many people like to hear. With this in mind, HLH is proud to present "A Proud History."
This section contains a short biography of our family farm and those who work on it, two or three speeches delivered across the country by Tom Benner and a timeline detailing the major events that have shaped our lives here at HLH, from beginning to present day.
