A Proud History
Starting this business was an adventure - not always easy, but exciting and rewarding. Transitioning from tobacco to herbs required a lot of hard work, dedication and perserverance. Within the span of a year, our family moved from growing three types of commodity crops, to nearly one hundred premium herbs, with each variety requiring special growing conditions. This hard work, combined with our innovative use of old farm equipment, has made our story one that people like to hear.
With this in mind, HLH is pleased to present "A Proud History." Below, you can read a selection of essays and articles about our farm, from then till now. Click on the pictures for a larger view.
